Q: I would like to try Tournament Updater. How do I get a trial license?
A: Download Tournament Update from www.pokerprolabs.com/download , launch it and click Obtain Trial License, enter your email address and click Ok. The license information will be emailed to that email address.
 
 
 
Q: I enter the license id and password and get an error message. Did I do something wrong?
A: Please make sure you have entered the correct license id and password. Please keep in mind the trial license is valid for 7 days. Also, you cannot request multiple licenses from the same computer. If you need more time to test Tournament Updater or require additional licenses please contact support at support@pokerprolabs.com.
 
 
 
Q: How do I use Tournament Updater?
A:

Install Tournament Updater and enter the license id and password.
Launch TU and click the Add button:

 

Select Server - PostgreSQL or Access (select the type of database you are currently using).
Host - use localhost (unless modified previously)
Port – use 5432 (unless modified previously)


Poker Tracker 2
User Name - postgres
Password –postgrespass


Poker Tracker 3
User Name - postgres
Database – dbpass
 
 
Q: I try running Tournament Updater but get an error message, something about the database/data source/driver
A: That error message means you do not have the latest version of PostgreSQL installed. Tournament Updater works only with the latest version of Poker Tracker. Here is the link containing the instructions on how to install PostgreSQL: http://www.pokertracker.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=17936.
 
 
 
Q: What sites do you currently support?
A: We currently support Full Tilt and PokerStars
 
 
Q: Will you be adding other sites in the future?
A: Yes, we will be adding new sites in the future. If there is a particular site you would like to see added please email us at support@pokerprolabs.com.
 
 
 
Q: What tournaments do you currently support?
A: We currently support all tournaments (SNGs, MTT and Heads-ups).
 
 
 
Q: I was just eliminated from a tourney and tried to update in Poker Tracker but nothing happens. How come?
A: Tournament Updater updates only completed tournaments. Please wait for the tournament to finish and then try updating it again.
 
 
 
Q: Do I need to do anything manually in Poker Tracker for Tournament Updater to work?
A: No. There is no data entry or any other customization required. Just make sure Poker Tracker is running when playing in a tournament.
